about atheer
Atheer Yacoub is a New York based comedian and writer. Her comedy is inspired by her Palestinian-Muslim upbringing in Alabama. She came to the city with big hopes of making it in a respectable career, but found herself in comedy instead.
Atheer has been featured in the New York Arab American Comedy Festival, The Big Brown Comedy Hour, Toronto's SheDot Festival, and the Muslim Funny Fest. She's also performed her one woman show, Census Humor, at the People's Improv Theater and basements all over New York City. Read More |
